$SOLO

Creator fees rent Bitcoin miners aimed at a single block.

If a rented machine ever finds one, half of what reaches our address goes to eligible holders and half buys and burns $SOLO. The miner's numbers are live.

How it works

This is a long-shot mining attempt. The most likely outcome is that no block is ever found and nothing is paid out. $SOLO can lose all of its value.

Logarithmic scale: each step is a thousand times harder. Every hash is an independent draw, so a close share is not progress and does not make the next block more likely.

What happens to the fees

Fees
Every buy and sell pays pump.fun's creator fee to one public ops wallet. When enough has built up to pay for a useful rental, we claim it.
Hashrate
We swap the claimed SOL to BTC through Chainflip and rent SHA-256 hashrate on Braiins Hashpower or MiningRigRentals, pointed at solo.ckpool.org with our Bitcoin address as the username. Rentals run while the fees cover them; when they don't, nothing is mining.
If a block is found
The reward lands at our address, less solo.ckpool's 2%. Holders are counted at the block's 6th confirmation, by a rule published in advance. After 100 confirmations the BTC is swapped to SOL: 50% is sent pro rata to wallets holding at least 100,000 $SOLO, and 50% buys $SOLO and burns it.
If no block is found
Nothing is paid out. The fees were spent on hashrate. Rented hashrate costs more than it is expected to earn, so on average every rental loses money.

The odds

1 PH/s for 24 hours has a 1 in 6,598 chance of finding a block.

A full year of uninterrupted 1 PH/s gives about a 5.4% chance of at least one block. Rentals here are usually 1 PH/s for a day at a time, when the fees allow.
